Steam turbine generator sets are available from 50kW to 50MW capacity. They provide cost effective power from existing steam systems or alternative fuels such as biomass or geothermal in completely integrated packages. A typical synchronous STG package includes a steam turbine, speed reduction gear, couplings, generator, control system and lube console. Auxiliary systems such electrical switch gear and condensers can also be provided. Elliott has designed and manufactured steam turbines for 100+ years.
